Description
Sogn brann og redning IKS [Sogn fire and rescue] intends to sign a contract for the purchase of a tank lorry from Rosendahl AS. The background for the purchase is that the current 35-year old tank lorry has been removed from active service due to faults and deficiencies, as well as increased need for stand-by due to the improvement of tunnels in the area. The contracting authority anticipates a 1 year delivery time for an equivalent vehicle, but has received offers to purchase a used demonstration tank lorry from Rosendahl that can be delivered immediately. The vehicle has a cost limit of up to 3 200 000 NOK excluding VAT.
