We are looking to appoint a consultation partner to support duty holders with the expectations of the Serious Violence Duty. The Serious Violence Duty came into effect in January 2023 and within the guidance, a number of organisations were identified as Responsible Authorities. The production of an annual Strategic Needs Assessment is a mandatory product along with a corresponding Response Strategy. Partners across West Yorkshire have requested consultancy support to help them to continue to fulfil the requirements of the duty into local processes.
