Provision of Services for the Acceptance and Composting of Green Waste

Description

Lancashire County Council is seeking tenders for the provision of services for the acceptance and composting of green waste (grass cuttings, hedge clippings, tree pruning etc.) from household waste recycling centres and waste collection authorities across Lancashire. This procurement is for a Open Framework Agreement and as such it is subject to Section 49 of the Procurement Act 2023 with regards to reopening of the Framework, evaluation of bids, and the term of the scheme of Frameworks. It should be noted that there is no guarantee of the volume or value of the services let under the open framework. Any values given in this notice are an eight year estimate for the life of the open framework, based on previous spend.
