Description

The Authority is inviting Service Providers to apply for their Day Time Support service(s) to be included on the Authority's Provider List of Day Time Support Services for Older People and People with Dementia. This procurement is to establish a Provider List. To gain a place, Service Provider will need to satisfy the selection requirements and confirm they will maintain the Minimum Quality Standards through the 10 year validity, this is a Pass / Fail Criteria. The Provider List will be open for 10 years and Service Providers are invited to submit an application using RFQ 15192681 before 6.4.2018. Following this initial application deadline, applications can then be submitted using RFQ 15192682 from 1.6.2018 at any time during the 10 years. Once the Provider List has commenced, any Service Users can access the list. See the ITT for more details. The Provider List does not provide any guarantee of business to any Service Providers. Estimated total value II.1.5 is indicative. Day time supports for older people and people with dementia offer a wide and diverse range of supports including social interactions, healthy meals, activities, personal care support such as hairdressing and bathing, exercise classes and these can be provided in a variety of settings. Day time supports are an important resource to improve people's wellbeing, reduce loneliness and isolation, provide respite for carers and prevent or delay the need for more intensive health and social care support for those using the service. Day time supports do not include care at home but can be provided within a residential care home as well as in specialised centres and other community centres. To gain a place on the Provider List the Selection Criteria is Pass / Fail. Once the Provider List has commenced, any Service Users can access the Provider list and choose which daytime support they wish to attend from the Authority's website and referrals can be made directly by the Service User, family and carers or via a social worker and the Authority's Care Navigation Service. Please see ITT document for more information. Please note, when searching for the tender for the Provider List on the Authority's Oracle Sourcing Portal to look for the RFQ number with the highest number after the comma; this will be most up to date version. The Authority reserves the right to amend the RFQ number at any time, this will communicated via the all tender adverts and the Sourcing Portal.
