Description

Ballylumford Substation is a critical transmission node on the network enabling access for conventional generation and the Moyle Interconnector to the Northern Ireland Transmission Grid. The 110kV indoor AIS switchgear located at Ballylumford was manufactured in 1966 and has been highlighted for replacement based on asset condition. This procurement was for design, engineering, procurement, delivery, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of a new 110Kv GIS substation.
