Furniture Removal, Storage, Design and Move Management Framework Agreement

Description

The Council has a requirement for a Multi-lot Framework Agreement for the provision of Furniture Removals and Storage, Design and Move Management services. It is expected that the new Framework Agreement shall operate from May 2026 for a period of four years with no option to extend. The Council’s aim is to appoint a number of Contractors to deliver the above services. Please note that the estimated framework value is subject to anticipated demand and the Council can not guarantee the volume of business. Lot 1: Furniture Removal and Ethical Disposal Lot 1 - project based removal and ethical disposal of old furniture and assistance with delivery, set-up, dismantle and removal of furniture for large scale events e.g. Elections occupied by the Council and partners such as CGI, National Health Service, Police Scotland and Scottish Fire. Additional information: Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. Lot 2: Temporary Accommodation Service Furniture Removal, Transfer and Storage Lot 2 - Temporary Accommodation Services is a statutory service within the Council which provides accommodation and support for around 5,000 homeless people per year. A significant number of those customers require assistance with the removal, transfer and storage of belongings. The Contractor would be required to assist tenants with the removal, transfer and storage of belongings and sometimes for an unspecified amount of time. Lot 3: Design and Move Management Lot 3 - Fully design, manage and provide advice/support to Council staff or project teams that are responsible for the relocation of staff and services to ensure relocations are carried out efficiently and cost effectively with minimum disruption or down time to business. Relocation of staff with associated furniture, equipment and resources.
