Tunnel operation services

Description

The University Hospital of North Norway Trust (UNN) will, in cooperation with Sykehusbygg HF, carry out the detailed engineering design services for and construction of the New UNN Narvik (NUN) at Furumoen in Narvik. A tunnel has been established between the exit from the E6 and the hospital area. There will only be construction traffic in the tunnel during the construction period. Narvik Municipality will construct a new Health Centre next to the new hospital, which will follow the progress of the hospital to a large degree. The assignment consists of inspections and maintenance of technical equipment in the Furumo tunnel in the construction period. The expected period is an immediate start-up and until 31 December 2024. The scope of the inspection and maintenance is described in part II of the tender documentation. The Furumo tunnel is 560 m long that runs from a separate exit from a roundabout on the E6 to the construction site area for the hospital and health centre. There will only be site traffic in the contract period, and the tunnel is shut by a barrier at both ends. The barriers are operated by the turnkey contractor (HENT AS).
