The appointment of a Residential Building Manager who has experience in non-social multi-tenure property and facilities management to ensure successful long-term property management arrangements who will represent the Employer (in the capacity as the freeholder and landlord) on every aspect of the day-to-day facilities and building related operational aspects associated with the Developments. Hackney Council has appointed a single Service Provider to represent it on every aspect of a quality day-to-day hard and soft facilities management service associated with 2 developments: The Nile Street development will encompass a college school and 175 apartments. The Tiger Way development will incorporate a 2-storey primary school and 89 apartments. The Mandatory Core Services scope includes Hard and Soft FM to communal areas, common plant, equipment and infrastructure, estate-wide services to all shared external areas together with Hard FM to the schools for the building envelope. Additionally, there is an optional Soft FM service to both schools: Hard FM Services e.g. Building fabric, heating and air conditioning, decorations, lifts and escalators, fire safety systems, plumbing and drainage. Soft FM Services e.g. cleaning, waste disposal and recycling, security, pest control, handyman services, grounds maintenance, concierge.
