The Yorkshire and the Humber Regional Policing Procurement Team are putting together a collaborative framework to procure all our IT hardware and commercial off the shelf software requirements including all services related to the supply of this equipment. This framework is also available to the North East police forces which includes Durham, Cleveland and Northumbria. This lot is designed to appoint a partner to work with our forces to supply end user devices, other hardware such as audio visual equipment and peripheral accessories. The appointed partner will need the capability to work with a wide range of vendors and deliver a value added service to our forces. This lot is for a partner to work with the police forces engaged in this procurement to provide server and storage infrastructure as well as provide a value added service throughout the contract. The appointed supplier needs to be able to provide equipment from multiple vendors as well as be experienced working with this type of equipment to be able to offer professional services. This lot will appoint a partner to provide networking equipment, associated equipment and software and professional services to support our networking requirements. Suppliers bidding for this lot will need to have strong relationships with vendors in this sector and will also need to have had experience providing similar contracts and services to authorities. This lot is for the procurement of commercial off the shelf software for police forces as well as software support and maintenance packages. Suppliers will need relationships with the key vendors and to have worked with authorities to deliver software packages previously. This lot will not be used to procure items already covered under national frameworks with Police ICT as we don't want to devalue national frameworks.
