The contracting authority needs to enter into a framework agreement for speech system accessories with active noise protection to TETRA hand-held radio terminals, in addition to a purchasing contract for the purchase of supplementary equipment bought on the framework agreement, with a view to further operation and maintenance of the equipment function. The winner of the contest will get both of the contracts as they belong together. The purpose of the procurement is to both reduce damaging noise as well as increase the information flow and safety in noisy environments for crews in operative situations. Use of multi-PTT (push-to-talk) will also ensure more efficient management of multiple connections. Personal noise protection will be part of the personal protective equipment. The following equipment is included in the contracts: — noise protection consisting of two ear guards with connection to the multi-PTT/control unit; — multi-PTT/control unit with connection for a minimum of three connections and a separate port for headset connection; — Extra PTT for connection to multi-PTT/control unit; — Cable from multi-PTT/control until to TETRA radio terminal; — Plugs for noise protection, in different sizes; — Noise protection with form-cast earplugs for connection to multi-PTT/control unit; — Noise protection consisting of headphones for connection to multi-PTT/control unit.
