The contract is for the delivery of continuity services due to the major restructuring of the incumbent suppliers business, resulting in the sale of the business unit supplying the services. The services include: — payroll and pension services, — catering services, — financial systems, — financial services; and — estates and property services, particularly hard facilities management services, including reactive and planned maintenance and minor works. In 2014, Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust awarded a contract to Serco for the delivery of the services listed above in this notice. Following a major restructure of their business, Serco announced, in August 2018, that they had entered into an agreement to sell their business unit which provides our services to NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS). A novation agreement is being signed to transfer contractual responsibilities from Serco to NHS SBS for the entire contract. The term of the novation is the remainder of the original contract term, ending 31.3.2020.
