Description
The tender contest includes the procurement of an automatic instrument for high-throughput DNA isolation. The Molecular Biological laboratory shall procure a robot that primarily shall be used for isolation of DNA for different marine organisms and tissue types (mainly on fins and muscles tissue). Our project includes a relatively large number of individuals, therefore analyses are currently made on a 96-format. We are already implementing some analyses on a 384-format. The laboratory is currently isolating DNA from approx. 100 000 individuals per annum.
