Assisted Conception Services for Sussex patients - NHS/SOEPS/22.865 - AQP
Published
Description
NHS Sussex Integrated Care Board (Contracting Authority) Commissioners wish to commission Assisted Conception Services as per the service specification, for Sussex people experiencing infertility or requiring fertility preservation prior to gonadotoxic treatment. This Service will deliver safe, high quality assisted conception care which offers patients a choice of provider, together with excellent outcomes and an improved patient experience. In securing services from Providers, the Contracting Authority needs assurance of competence, quality, and safety standards. It is a mandatory requirement that Prospective Providers are suitably licenced by the Human Fertility and Embryology Authority (HFEA). The AQP contracts will commence on 1st April 2023 once the procurement process has reached completion. It should be noted that under the Any Qualified Provider model, there will be no guaranteed volume of activity, or payment in the contracts awarded. Any provider will be eligible to join a list of qualified providers subject to demonstrating competency against the authority's specified criteria. The list will be subsequently opened to new entrants to the market, subject to assessment. If qualified, your organisation will be required to accept the terms and conditions and be compliant with the NHS Standard Contract and any subsequent revisions thereof. All correspondence regarding this procurement should be through the e-tender portal https://in-tendhost.co.uk/soepscommissioning. Any correspondence received via other means will not be responded to. The window for clarification questions from Applicants will close at 5pm, Wednesday 18th January 2023, allowing time for answers to be posted and applicants to complete and submit their applications by 12pm, Monday 30th January 2023. Please read the questionnaire and the supporting offer documents very carefully since failure to comply with the requirements contained therein (including paying particular attention to Maximum Word Limits for answers) will invalidate your submission.
