Description

The contracting authority is seeking to enter into a 4-year framework agreement arrangement in respect of 8 lots dealing with planned and cyclical maintenance in support of its direct labour operations and directly awarded contracts. The framework will require a minimum of 5 providers to be appointed to each lot. Bidders may submit for multiple lots and works to be undertaken during the duration of the framework will be ordered by means of mini-competition or direct award at the sole discretion of the contracting authority. The ethos of the contracting authority is to encourage SME contractors on the Wirral and in the Merseyside area to become collaborative partners in the on-going development of the services that the contracting authority provides its customers. Tenderers will be required to complete a financial and technical capacity and capability questionnaire, this will establish those that will be selected to have a financial and quality evaluation of their tender. Undertaking of batched/minor planned maintenance works on an all trades basis. The annual expenditure will be in the range of GBP 100 000 to GBP 350 000. The contracting authority will predetermine the priorities of each works order issued, further details are contained in the procurement documents. Undertaking of full roof replacements on an all trades basis. The annual expenditure will be in the range of GBP 250 000 to GBP 400 000. The contracting authority will predetermine the priorities of each works order issued, further details are contained in the procurement documents. Undertaking of external decoration and pre-decoration repairs. The annual expenditure will be in the range of GBP 75 000 to GBP 150 000. The contracting authority will predetermine the priorities of each works order issued, further details are contained in the procurement documents. Undertaking of electrical upgrades, rewires and EICR on a single trade basis. The annual expenditure will be in the range of GBP 150 000 to GBP 440 000 The contracting authority will predetermine the priorities of each works order issued, further details are contained in the procurement documents. Undertaking of kitchens and bathrooms. The annual expenditure will be in the range of GBP 200 000 to GBP 675 000. The contracting authority will predetermine the priorities of each works order issued, further details are contained in the procurement documents. Undertaking of disabled adaptations on an all trades basis. The annual expenditure will be in the range of GBP 50 000 to GBP 150 000. The contracting authority will predetermine the priorities of each works order issued, further details are contained in the procurement documents. Undertaking of window and external and communal door renewals including renewal of fascias and rainwater goods. The annual expenditure will be in the range of GBP 100 000 to GBP 250 000. Undertaking of fire risk remedial works on a multi trades basis. The annual expenditure will be in the range of GBP 250 000 to GBP 500 000.
