Description

The Office produced its Strategy Statement in 2013 for the period 2013 – 2015. On foot of that strategic review, there are a number of IT-related projects arising. This document constitutes a Request for Tenders (RFT) to select a skilled and experienced Lotus Notes Development and Support Services provider to assist in the support, enhancement and development of Lotus Notes applications and systems in the Office of the Ombudsman. Anticipated projects include: • To further develop and enhance the functionality of the centralised Ombudsman Records Management system • To expand the Ombudsman Records Management system for use by the Office of the Information Commissioner and the Office of the Commissioner for Environmental Information, delivering greater operational efficiencies • To improve and enhance use of online facilities for customer service delivery • To harness IBM Collaboration technologies for inter- and extra- Office communications • To refine and update existing Annual Report statistical model, with Excel export functionality to reduce the overhead in derivation and extraction of these statistics • To enhance search-ability and scalability of the Office’s systems • To provide technical assistance and support in enhancing Domino systems / resources • Support for development of Office Intranet, which may or may not be a Lotus Domino-based application
