Urgent Dental Out of Hours 2026/28

Description

The dental out of hours service for Hertfordshire offers urgent dental care to patients who have an urgent clinical dental need out side of normal hours. The service operates Monday - Friday 6-8pm and Weekends and Bank Holidays between 10am - 6pm from 2 sites in Stevenage and Rickmansworth.<br/><br/>Patients are clinically triaged via NHS 111 by a dental nurse and booked appointments into one of the 2 sites.<br/><br/>To confirm as per the PSR direct award process C, the existing provider satisfies the existing contract, delivering a good service, meeting all the KPIs with no quality concerns and good outcomes. No concerns have been raised by patients and the current contracting arrangements are not changing from the existing contract. Lot 1: The dental out of hours service for Hertfordshire offers urgent dental care to patients who have an urgent clinical dental need out side of normal hours. The service operates Monday - Friday 6-8pm and Weekends and Bank Holidays between 10am - 6pm from 2 sites in Stevenage and Rickmansworth.<br/><br/>Patients are clinically triaged via NHS 111 by a dental nurse and booked appointments into one of the 2 sites.<br/><br/>There is no material change to the new contract being offered and therefore a direct award process C has been completed under the PSR and a robust due diligence process has been completed to ensure providers meet all the Basic and Key Criterion.
