Description

The Irish Prison is responsible for the health and safety of all incarcerated persons. Death in custody and more in particular self-harm and suicide incidents are occurring all too often in our institutions. One of the elements to increase our capacity to prevent serious injuries and death during incarcerated persons stay in a prison cell, and more specifically in Close Supervision or Safety Observation Cells, is the implementation of Non-Intrusive Sign of Life Technology.
