The London Borough of Redbridge (“the Authority”) will be holding a Market Engagement event for interested parties for their forthcoming remodeling and re-commissioning of Supported Living Provision. All organisations who are experienced providers in the delivery of high-quality Supported Living and new providers are invited to attend this meeting where further information will be provided and the opportunity to raise questions. Market Engagement Meeting Invitation A market engagement meeting has been arranged for 10.00am on 22 May 2024 at Redbridge Town Hall, 128-142 High Rd, Ilford IG1 1DD. The focus of this event is to consult (existing) or (potential new) Providers about the Council’s future purchasing plans. The Council’s is seeking to develop sustainable services and a marketplace where different support needs can be met effectively, enabling greater choice through diverse range of services, for people who need to access them. The Market Engagement Meeting will take place on: Date: 22 May 2024 Time: 09.30 – 13:00 Venue: Redbridge Town Hall, 128-142 High Rd, Ilford IG1 1DD Background Redbridge Council has organised a market engagement event on 22/05/24. The focus of this event is to consult (existing) or (potential new) Providers about the Council’s future purchasing plans for Supported Living. Providers will be able to receive feedback views on consultations completed and hear from the Council on issues around Housing Benefit, rent, service charge, training and support for care providers. The Vision of the Council Redbridge Council aims to protect and empower the most vulnerable people whilst supporting all residents to secure good outcomes in life by; 1. Identifying needs and gaps in provision where new services are required. 2. Supporting the development of a vibrant market, providing a diverse range of services. 3. Commissioning services which enhance or increase service users’ independence and focus on the most vulnerable. 4. Commissioning services that build resilience and competences for individuals, families, and carers. 5. Ensuring Value for money, efficiency through smarter business processes and sustainable business models. Who can attend? This event is open to any parties who have an interest or are involved in delivering Supported Living Services in Redbridge and wish to be involved in shaping these services. What will it involve? The event will include a strategic overview of the council’s future intentions and explore future commissioning objectives. You will be given the opportunity to ask questions about the scope of Supported Living and to provide the opportunity to develop partnerships and create new networks. The aim of the event is to • Improve providers’ understanding of the Council’s Commissioning strategy, the drivers behind it and the outcomes to be achieved. • For the Council to learn about innovative ideas and different ways of providing and delivering services, as well as how to achieve value for money by identifying where best to focus attention, and how this attention should interface with key services to reach the best outcomes.
