In some instances ground works will be required at the locations specified, including foundations for shelter supports, concrete plinths or macadam surfacing. Ahead of all cycle parking installations a site visit accompanied by sign off from An Taisce EEU must occur before works can commence. Approximately 675 school locations nationally will require cycle parking and/or shelters (400 in 2022 and 275 in 2023). Approximately 50 school locations nationally will require scooter parking. Schools may require one or all 3 pieces of infrastructure, specifics will be given within individual call-off contracts.
