Description
Remedial Works Scheme at Acairsaid Pier, South Uist The works comprise remedial works to Acairsaid Pier, Eriskay, South Uist which is currently showing signs of disrepair and deterioration. CNES require the existing defective timber sections to be replaced and remedial works to be carried out to a defective pile. The timbers to four support frames shall be replaced with Greenheart marine grade timber. Temporary removal of fuel tank, crane and miscellaneous fixed pier equipment to facilitate the removal and replacement of the deck timbers over the east side section of the pier deck.
