National Framework for Adults (18+) in Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Care Homes & Care Homes with Nursing for the National Health Service in Wales

NWSSP Procurement Services (NWSSP) in collaboration with the NHS Wales Joint Commissioning Committee (JCC) are considering a procurement exercise to renew the current contractual NHS Wales arrangements for Adults (18+) in Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Care Homes & Care Homes with Nursing for the National Health Service in Wales . This is not a call for competition. The purpose of this PIN notice is to alert potential providers of an opportunity to meet with NWSSP and the JCC at a virtual pre market engagement event on Friday 27th March 2026. If the service decides to undertake a procurement exercise this will be advertised as appropriate at the relevant time. This notice is also an opportunity for any potential providers to submit requests for tender documentation in Welsh. Any requests for documentations to be provided through the medium of the Welsh language must be submitted by via email to amy.chilvers@wales.nhs.uk by Monday 16th March 2026. If the procurement exercise proceeds then the contracting authority will be conducting the procurement on behalf of Aneurin Bevan UHB, Betsi Cadwaladr UHB, Cardiff & Vale UHB, Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB, Hywel Dda UHB, Powys Teaching Health Board, Swansea Bay University Health Board (UHB), and NHS Wales Joint Commissioning Committee. Lot 1: This is a pre-market engagement event for the renewal of the National Care Homes framework agreement on behalf of NHS Wales.
