School cleaning services

Description

The successful tenderer will be required to provide care-taking and cleaning services for the Monmouth Cluster, which encompasses Monmouth Comprehensive School and 4 Primary Schools. The contract will commence on 1.4.2017 for a period of 3 years. This contract will be fixed price in nature with the successful contractor also guaranteeing the number of input hours to the contract as well as the quality of cleaning provision and levels of care-taking provision. We are seeking a suitably experienced contractor who has current experience of working within the secondary school or HE / FE market place, ideally with a strong operational base within Wales, thus allowing for both adequate contract support and operational flexibility that is to be delivered to support the contract as and when needed moving forwards into this contract term. The scope of the contract covers all care-taking and cleaning provision within the School. The successful contractor will be expected to deliver a concise and detailed method of management reporting at the end of each month thus updating the senior management team within Monmouth Comprehensive School on the contract performance. The projected cost of the care-taking and cleaning provision is circa 225 000 GBP per annum. Along with Monmouth Comprehensive School, the following 4 primary schools are part of this tender process: — Osbaston Primary School; — Raglan Primary School; — Cross Ash Primary School; — Trellech Primary School. The scope of services would be the same as for Monmouth Comprehensive School, however on a smaller scale.
