Description

This is for a full Fit Out of 5th, 6th and part of 4th Floor at Bishops Square, Dublin 2. The proposed development will include the Cat A + Cat B fit-out of a shell and core space across 2.5 storeys — 2 full floors, 5th and 6th, and one half floor on the 4th floor of an existing office building, to provide office accommodation for the civil service. The accommodation is provided by landlord at shell and core state. • Provision of fit for purpose office accommodation for The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), including ministerial accommodation, that complies with all relevant regulatory requirements, legislative requirements, the building regulations and the Planning Permission received for the development. • Provision of office accommodation that complies with the specific security, confidentiality and access control requirements of DFAT. • Provision of office accommodation that accommodates change and allows flexibility for working environments over time. • Provision of office accommodation that encompasses wider issues such as sustainability, OPW energy specifications, life cycle costing, universal access and achieves compliance with the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive 2010/31/EU. • Provision of a building that is designed in accordance with OPW design standards. • Provision of a high quality office and meeting environment with a strong design concept, suitable for diplomatic and international trade delegates, in addition to DFAT and Minister of State personnel. • Provision of a fit out that is procured in compliance with the capital works management framework.
