As we move towards out next AMP – 2025-30, United Utilities is interested in hearing from suppliers who can support our water efficiency ambitions for household and non-household customers This will include some or all of the following: The ability to provide in-person visits to domestic and business customers. The visit would identify and fix leaks, used as an opportunity to install water savings devices and recommend other ways for a customer to be more water efficient including rainwater harvesting. To have the ability to provide a remote service for this who wish to survey the properties themselves e.g. those business customers with a maintenance team who require upskilling to be self-sufficient in leak detection and fitting of devices. In addition to the service, outlined above, we would want any partner to provide water efficiency products such as tap aerators, water efficiency shower heads, flow regulators, water Butts and to be able to provide the capability to supply and fulfil direct customer orders chargeable to the customer (must have an online ordering and payment facility). United Utilities will then use this information to help determine the overall approach and future strategy in relation to an upcoming tender. Any subsequent procurement will be advertised at a later date via a separate notice.
