Castle Point and Rochford Clinical Commissioning Group wish to secure Providers a range of services. 24 Hour BP Monitoring Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring is the non-invasive measurement of blood pressure over a prolonged period (usually 24 hours). Community Phlebotomy Service Providers will provide a community phlebotomy service encompassing all blood sampling for investigations and follow ups arising from the management of patients in primary care. Gonadorelin Analogue Gonadorelins are used primarily in the treatment of carcinoma of the prostrate and sometimes used in the treatment of breast cancer and endometriosis. There are a number of treatment regimes, which vary in the detail of their programme of administration and main purpose. Minor Injuries The service recognises a need for providing a minor injury service for events which have occurred within the 48 hours prior to attendance. Secondary Care Wound Management Secondary care wound management service includes but not limited to wound monitoring and dressing changes post operatively, treatment of wound infection and dehiscence (as appropriate), continued management of wounds healing by secondary intention. Vasectomy Vasectomy is indicated when a man wishes to make permanent and irreversible their decision that they should never subsequently conceive a child of their own. DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) A venous thrombus most often occurs in the deep veins of the legs or pelvis and is then called a deep vein thrombosis. The clot may dislodge and travel to the lungs to cause a pulmonary embolism. A DVT can be very difficult to diagnose but early recognition and appropriate treatment can save many lives. 24 Hr ECG Ambulatory ECG/R tests are common diagnostic tools across a range of presenting clinical conditions in cardiology. Diagnostic tests can detect abnormalities and aid diagnosis.
