Bus Shelter Cleaning Framework

WLC are proposing to tender a new multi supplier framework for the provision of bus shelter cleaning across 9 ward areas within the area. Lot 1: WLC are proposing to tender a new multi supplier framework for the provision of bus shelter cleaning across 9 ward areas within the area. This will cover a total of 561 shelters for which the council has responsibility for keeping clean. It is intended that the shelters will be cleaned on either an annual or bi-annual basis. Previously this work has been undertaken on an ad-hoc basis and the intention of introducing planned cyclical cleaning is to improve the condition and lifespan of such infrastructure to enhance the uptake of public transport services. PTS will be holding a tender briefing session for any suppliers interested in applying for the DPS. The session will take place in on 25 May 2026 1.30pm to 3pm.
