The Provision of Specialist Cleaning and Clearance Services

South Lanarkshire Council has an ongoing requirement for the Provision of Specialist Cleaning and Clearance Services. The Contract will cover a range of services as follows: - Removal of Body Fluids and Tissue - Clearing contents, cleaning and disinfecting of properties including disposal of contents - Cleaning and Disinfection of Water Supply Systems - Garden Clearances and treatment, disposal and recycle waste including Waste Upholstered Seating containing Persistent Organics Pollutants (WUDS/POPs) The contract is for the period 01 April 2027 – 31 March 2031 with the option to extend for a further period of up to 36 months. Lot 1: The purpose of this contract is to provide a compliant and efficient solution for the the Provision of Specialist Cleaning and Clearance Services. This contract will be awarded via the Open Tender procedure based on the most economically advantageous tender (MEAT) criteria under regulation 28 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 which enables the Council to take account of criteria that reflect qualitative technical aspects of the tender submission as well as price when reaching an awarding decision.
