Description

Outline of Work - The building is located at Parnell Square, Dublin 1. The proposed development comprises the construction of a new single-story Radiology Unit in the central open area on a c. 0.076 ha site within the Rotunda campus, to the Southern end of the hospital campus, and the rear of the original hospital building. The project includes a link connection to the existing Admissions building and amendments to the façade of this building, where the new building abuts. The total proposed new building area is approx. 203 sqm. The proposed development includes ancillary and associated site works It is anticipated that the new structure will be accessed from the West, directly through the existing admissions department. The development also requires modification to the existing car parking layouts including the removal of several car parking spaces from the campus, to facilitate vehicular access to existing car parking and maintenance zones. The development also includes slightly relocating the existing three waste compactors and a skip to the east to provide adequate space for the new building.
