Description

ESPO is seeking to establish a multi-supplier Framework Agreement for customers to outsource their education, social care (e.g. meals on wheels), workplace (including healthcare, leisure and other catering requirements), visitor attractions and event catering service requirements. Lot 1: Education Catering - Provision of outsourced catering services for education establishments including different stages of education (primary, secondary, further and higher) and any other learning institutions within the administrative regions of the UK. Lot 2: Social Care Catering - Provision of outsourced social care catering and community meals services including meals on wheels, delivered-in meals for lunch clubs and day centres within the administrative regions of the UK. Lot 3: Corporate Catering - Provision of outsourced catering services for workplaces including establishments/locations in which staff are working (e.g. local authority workplaces, art galleries, leisure centres) and any venues and events which are owned and operated by or on behalf of a public body, central government or an agency of the government or a local authority, or by any eligible not-for-profit organisation. This Lot includes requirements for healthcare, residential care, prisons, etc. within the administrative regions of the UK. The Framework Agreement has the option to extend for up to a further 24 months. The total estimated value stated includes the option period. An eAuction process may be used to award subsequent call off contracts following the reopening of competition among the parties to the Framework Agreement. As a Central Purchasing Body as defined by the EU Procurement Directive 2014/24/EU, the Framework Agreement is open for use by Public Bodies (defined https://www.espo.org/ESPO/media/Documents/FAQs/ESPO-s_powers_to_trade__website_-2016-12-22.pdf) that also fall into one of the following classifications of user throughout all administrative regions of the UK: - Local Authorities, - Educational Establishments (including Academies), - Central Government Departments and Agencies, - Police, Fire and Rescue and Coastguard Emergency Services, - NHS and HSC Bodies, including Ambulance Services, - Registered Charities, - Registered Social Landlords, or any public body established by or under the Scotland Act 1998 or any Act of the Scottish Parliament.
