Can you please clarify what is the exact requirement? As the “Specialist Role” says “Business Analyst” and the “What the specialist will work on” description says mainly about testing. So the requirement is of Business Analyst or Tester? A large part of the role relates to processing definition and related documentation, once the process definition is complete the role will move into defining and executing testing, training and supporting end users. The essential skills and experience for the role should provide more clarity around the skillset required of the individual, which we view as being those of a Business Analyst who will support the Testing Manager and testers. 2. Is there an incumbent for this role? This is a new role specifically to support the client-side implementation of workday in UKIB, therefore there is no incumbent. 3. How big is the team? There will be a Project Manager, Change Manager, Test Manager, Finance Product Owner and 2 full-time Subject Matter Experts, HR Product Owner and 2 full time subject matter experts, a part time Procurement Product Owner and across all functions a Data Architect and Business representatives as required during design, test etc. 4. When is go live date? The aspirational go live date is end of July 2023 which will be followed by a period of post go live support. 5. Are the roles inside or outside of IR35 – off payroll suggest outside but umbrella company suggests inside? This role is expected to be inside IR35. 6. The role brief does not include any solution design or configuration – please confirm this is “not” required? This is not required, we are implementing Workday Launch and have already awarded a contract for Implementation. These roles are client-side and are to support the business resources. 7. How often will the candidate need to be in the office (roughly) and which office is preferred? Resources will largely be working remotely, however there may be a requirement to come to site particularly around testing and go live if users need additional support. There is no preferred office, there is a small user base in London with the majority of users based in Leeds.
