Summary of the work Workday experts with knowledge of implementing Finance, Adaptive Planning and HCM, defining business processes, defining and executing testing, delivering end-user training and supporting the end-user community. Specialist role Business analyst Expected Contract Length 9 months with an optional 3 month extension (extension subject to internal budgetary approval.) Latest start date Tuesday 28 February 2023 Maximum Day Rate Up to £1,000 excluding VAT per day, standard 8 hour working day, includes expenses to base location agreed with UKIB. Additional expenses only paid with prior approval of UKIB. Early Market Engagement None. Who Speclialist Work With The UKIB Back Office Project Team consists of an IT Project Manager, a Finance Product Owner, an HCM Product Owner, Subject Matter Experts, Business Analysts, Data Architect and Business Experts from across the functions as required. The Implementation Partner is Workday. The Buyer currently has c. 175 users within the organisation; however, we expect this to scale up to around 300. What Specialists Work On The responsibilities will be: 1. Standard Operating Procedure definition 2. Build and unit test reports 3. Functional test scripts and execution 4. End User Training documentation 5. User Acceptance Test scripts 6. User Acceptance Test execution 7. End-user training delivery 8. Go live support 9. Carry-out knowledge transfer to the UKIB Project Team in relation to the implemented solution. Skills & Experience • Resources with experience of implementing Workday Financials as a Functional consultant on a minimum of 2 Workday Implementations. • Experience of In-depth knowledge of the Workday system deployment lifecycle. • Experience with hands-on design, administration, and implementation of Workday Financials. • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Finance functions and business processes. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment and use an iterative method and flexible approach to enable rapid delivery and manage a tight schedule. • Experience in taking information from multiple sources and synthesising conclusions for both a technical and non-technical audience. • Experience of working with senior-level stakeholders to prioritise requirements, mediate between multiple perspectives, and to convince and influence on benefits, costs and risks of different approaches to problems. • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills: clear and concise verbal and written communicator, with the ability to effectively navigate and mediate conflict and foster honest dialogue. • Demonstrable experience defining test scenarios and scripts, executing user acceptance testing (including Data Validation) and working with Testing teams to document results and test issues. • Demonstrate experience of excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills. • Experience in establishing, developing, and maintaining cross-functional working relationships. • Has requested a copy of, and accepts (on an unequivocal basis) UKIB's terms and conditions (based on the standard-form DOS 5 call-off contract with amendments). Nice to Haves • Experience with hands-on design, administration, and implementation of Workday Adaptive Planning. • Experience with hands-on design, administration, and implementation of Workday Procurement. • In-depth working knowledge of the Workday Launch methodology. • Experience supporting Workday post-go live, including Workday upgrades/ new feature management. • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Finance functions and business processes within a Financial Services Organisation or equivalent. • Evidence of accountancy qualification or equivalent experience. Work Location 4th Floor, One Embankment, Neville Street, Leeds, LS1 4DW 1 Puddle Dock, London, EC4V 3DS Ability to work remotely, must have the right to work in the UK and be available to attend site when required, possibly at short notice. Working Arrangments The Buyer’s Head Office is in Leeds with a small footprint in London. Resources must be available to attend site as required, although there is the possibility to work remotely as agreed with the Buyer. Leeds or London must be identified as the office base of the Resource, no expenses to be charged for attendance at the base location. The Buyer operates a hybrid working model, with a material remote workforce that will need to be trained and supported once the solution goes live. This contract will include go-live support and training all users, across all locations, office-based and remote. Security Clearance Must have BPSS as a minimum. Additional T&Cs All expenses must be pre-agreed between the parties and must comply with the UK Infrastructure Bank (UKIB) Travel and Subsistence Policy. All vendors are obliged to provide sufficient guarantees to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures so that the processing meets the requirements of GDPR and ensures the protection of the rights of data subjects. Is there any incumbent for this position? This is a new role specifically to support the client-side implementation of workday in UKIB, therefore there is no incumbent. 3. BUYERS CLARIFICATION Please note: Supplier will need to request for a copy of the UKIB's terms and conditions (based on the standard-form DOS 5 call-off contract with amendments) on or before the 25th January 2023 (midnight) in order to meet Essential Skills and Experience 12.
