Description
This tender is for the upgrade of existing road restraint systems (RRS) along the A57 Snake Pass. This is Contract 1 of 2 for the A57 with this contract aimed at installing RRS upgrades within the extents of a planned road closure. The other contract, Contract 2, will fall outside of the planned closure period. The scope of work under Contract 1 comprises: The retrofit of bike guard to existing lengths of RRS within the planned closure where bike guard has not been installed in the past. The installation of new terminals within the closure to replace older style terminals. Isolated civil works to enable new terminals to be installed.
