The University is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced Providers to tender for the provision of all or some of these services to the University under a contract(s) that will run initially for three years with an option to extend for a period of up to five years, subject to satisfactory performance. The University plans to invite prequalified bidders to submit tender proposals as follows: Lot 1 — Core Occupational Health Services including Travel Advice and Vaccinations for Travel and an Employee Wellbeing Programme, Lot 2 — Employee Assistance Programme, Lot 3 — Specialist Ergonomic Assessment of Workstations/Work Environment. Core Occupational Health Services including Travel Advice and Vaccinations for Travel and an Employee Wellbeing Programme — Post-offer health assessments for staff. — Occupational Health referrals for staff (by managers/HR) for work-related ill health and for attendance management, including ill health retirements / pensions medicals and periodic assessments of fitness to work / perform work duties. — Health/medical surveillance and assessments for staff including but not limited to respiratory, vibration, repetitive strain injury, dermatology, hearing, vision, asbestos, exposure to substances in schedule 6 of COSHH regulations, safety-critical work, radiation medicals, Health Passports, Fitness to Teach and other statutory assessments (e.g. new and expectant mothers). — Immunisations and vaccinations for discipline-specific staff and discipline-specific students (e.g. social work students), including but not limited to Hepatitis B and flu vaccines. — Pathology services. Where required shall deliver pathology services following exposure to blood-borne pathogens including but not limited to, hepatitis B, C, BBV (HIV, Hepatitis B, HCV antibody). Screening where required. — Dyslexia assessments for staff. — Face-to-face counselling for staff (both on-site and off-site). — Travel advice and travel vaccinations for staff, including fitness to travel screening and risk assessment, for work related travel. — Wellbeing programmes for staff, including regular, at least monthly, proactive health promotion and education activities and wellbeing events. Employee Assistance Programme (on-site and remote off-site access) — 24-hour, 7 days a week Employee Assistance Programme for staff and immediate family. — Workstation/workplace assessments for staff in specific cases, to include recommendations for adjustments including equipment. — Training of employee DSE assessors. — Awareness sessions for staff on working with DSE.
