Description

City Hall is being extensively refurbished and will be one of the two ‘hub’ buildings within the BCC estate. Completion will be in May 2016 with full reoccupation anticipated to take approximately 8/12 months. There will be a workspace café in the ‘Cash Hall’ area of City Hall, which is a high impact, double height space, with a number of different types of seating settings, with a total capacity for around 450 people in this area. The Cash Hall has been designed as a ‘destination venue’ which attracts staff from across the site/estate throughout the working day, to maximise the use of this space for collaborative working.
