Audio Visual Solution Design, Supply, Install and 3 Year Support for Critical Teaching and Meeting Spaces for the Dublin Dental University Hospital

Dublin Dental University Hospital (DDUH), Lincoln Place, Dublin 2, is a teaching hospital and the national centre for the education and training of dentists and dental care professionals. Reliable audio-visual (AV) infrastructure is business-critical to its teaching, clinical demonstration and meeting activities. DDUH is planning a competitive procurement for the design, supply, installation, commissioning and three-year support and maintenance of modern AV solutions for a number of its critical teaching and meeting spaces. In advance of publishing that competition, DDUH is undertaking this Preliminary Market Consultation (PMC) to inform the market of its intentions and to gather information to help shape the requirement. The spaces in scope are the Boardroom, Lecture Theatre 2 and the Clinical Skills Lab (full AV refresh), together with Large Lecture Theatre 1 (no refresh planned; included for support and maintenance only). All four rooms are to be covered by a three-year support and maintenance service. An indicative inventory of the existing equipment in each room is provided in the consultation document attached to this notice, as context only. The objectives of this PMC are to: understand the range and capability of suppliers of design-led AV solutions for a clinical/academic environment; test the feasibility of a live content-distribution / multi-position streaming approach in a clinical skills teaching space; and obtain an indicative sense of cost and delivery timelines for a solution of this nature.
