Description

TII was formed out of a merger of the National Roads Authority (NRA) and the Railway Procurement Agency (RPA) in August 2015. The RPA used Sage and the NRA used Sun as their main Financial Systems. TII has continued to use Sun for Corporate and Roads Business and Sage 1000 for the Rail business since the merger. TII are hereby investigating the provision of a new single system to oversee all our financial and management information systems requirements. The new system must be sufficiently flexible to accommodate future changes to our business model and activity levels. The consolidated MIS must be able to capture data consistently from this environment and report accurately on the current status and expected out turn of projects throughout the project lifecycle, while simultaneously satisfying the statutory periodic and year-end reporting requirements. Improved reporting is also required as an aid to improved management decision-making. There are ten related applications that interface with the two main finance systems to deliver the required transaction processing and financial and project reporting for TII. Please see the attached Document for the list of interfaces with Sun and Sage. We wish to do this with products that are already available within the modules available in an existing ERP system and achieve our objectives without bespoke work but with configuration only. Submissions in response to the questionnaire attached are to be submitted via the proposals section by 12 Noon on the 20th November 2023. The time limit for the proposals is set on the system into March 2024 but this is only done to keep the portal open for post proposal communication.
