Disposal, erasing and restoring of used ICT equipment, Helse Nord

Description

The contracting authority, Helse Nord IKT, shall on behalf of all the health trusts in the Northern Norway Health Authority enter into an agreement for the disposal, erasing and restoring of used ICT equipment. The objective of the procurement is to ensure that all used ICT equipment in the Northern Norway Regional Health Authority's (Helse Nord) organisation is handled in a secure and environmentally friendly manner. Lot 1: The contracting authority wants to ensure that all sensitive data that are stored on the ICT equipment are erased in a safe manner before the equipment is recycled or sold. Used equipment that is not suitable for further sale or recycling must be destroyed in accordance with the Norwegian Regulations regarding recycling and treatment of waste from 1 June 2004, no. 930 (the Waste Regulations). The contract must also include the resale of unused (new) ICT equipment. The contracting authority, Northern Norway Regional Health Authority, intends to make a profit on this scheme. In Annex 2 the Price sheet, estimates of scopes per type of equipment to be disposed of are specified. The figures are based on experience from previous years regarding the scope to be covered by the service. The contracting authority has stated figures that can serve as guidance for the tenderer. However, we emphasise that these figures are only indicative and cannot be regarded as a binding volume for the Contracting Authority. The estimated value of the agreement is between NOK 2-4 million during the agreement period. The final "invoice value" will depend on the payback % (refund to the Contracting Authority) on resold equipment, and the share of the equipment that can be resold / reused in the second-hand market.
