Best Start in Life Programme Services

Description

Bradford Children and Families Trust (BCFT) is seeking to commission suppliers to deliver services that support the Best Start in Life Programme's strategic objectives. The commissioned services will aim to improve child development outcomes, enhance family wellbeing and positive relationships, increase school readiness, reduce inequalities, and facilitate access to integrated early years, health, education, and family support services. The procurement will be divided into the following two Lots: Lot 1: Lot 1 - Evidence-Based Programmes and Support for Parents Lot 2: Lot 2 - Parent-Infant Relationships and Perinatal Mental Health Service The services are expected to be delivered from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2029, with two options to extend the contract for up to a further 24 months each, at the Trust's discretion. Lot 127054: Lot 1 - Evidence Based Programmes and Support for Parents Service The Service will deliver high-quality, evidence-based parenting support for families with children aged 0-5 years, which strengthens parenting confidence and capability, promotes positive parent-child relationships, enhances the home learning environment, and improves children's developmental, wellbeing and school readiness outcomes. Lot 127055: Lot 2 - Parent-Infant Relationships and Perinatal & Mental Wellbeing Provision The Service will deliver high-quality, evidence-based parenting support for families with children aged 0-2 years. It will support and empower parents and carers to nurture their children and provide the best start in life. Through safe, inclusive, and supportive provision, promote positive early parent-infant relationships, support parental wellbeing and mental health, strengthening parenting confidence, and improve health, developmental, and educational outcomes for children and families.
