Pre Market Engagement - SY ICS Pathology Managed Equipment Service

On 18 June 2021, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust on behalf of all NHS Partner Trusts across South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw (the “Trusts”), published a prior information notice in Find a Tender (reference 2021/S 000-013950) to commence premarket engagement in relation to their requirements for a pan pathology managed service contract. The purpose of this prior information notice (“PIN”) is to notify the market that the Trusts are continuing with that premarket engagement and to provide an update in relation to the potential timescales for a procurement process. The procurement will be for the replacement of all existing pathology managed equipment and consumable services which all NHS Trusts across South Yorkshire currently have in place.As part of this PIN, we intend to issue a Request for Information (“RFI”) to interested suppliers. Please email sth.pathologyprocurement@nhs.net to express an interest in participating in the RFI. The deadline for responses is 23/12/22 Lot 1: Managed Service The final structure of the procurement process including whether the procurement will be split into lots and what those lots will be is still to be determined. Interested parties should note the purpose of the PIN is to commence premarket engagement activity and is not formally starting the procurement process.
