Self Drive Vehicle Hire contract

This prior information notice is not a call for competition. It is being published to give notice to the market of an upcoming procurement. Dorset Council is releasing this Prior Information Notice to indicate the expected launch of a procurement process for the selection of a contractor to provide self drive vehicle hire solutions across the County of Dorset. The procurement will be undertaken under the Public Contract Regulations 2015 as an open tender process. Lot 1: This prior information notice is not a call for competition. It is being published to give notice to the market of an upcoming procurement anticipated for release in January 2025. Dorset Council is releasing this Prior Information Notice to indicate the expected launch of a procurement process for the selection of a contractor to provide self drive vehicle hire solutions across the County of Dorset. The contractor must be able to provide a wide range of vehicles from small economy cars through to vans, minibuses, LCVs and LGVs up to and including 7.5 tonnes. The proposed contract will be for a period of up to 6 years. The procurement will be undertaken under the Public Contract Regulations 2015 as an open tender process.
