Framework agreement for the purchase of goods, services and maintenance for radio line equipment and the Armed Forces' communications infrastructure

The Armed Forces has signed a framework agreement with Eltel Networks AS. The contract was signed 14.02.2023.The aim of this procurement is to meet the defence sector's need for• Delivery of radio line materiel, antenna materiel, and passive reflector materiel, antenna masts, foundations for antenna masts (with strength calculations) and accompanying materiel (rectifiers, patch panels, guide dryers, 48V DC distributors, etc.), as well as necessary installation materiel.• Documentation of completed installations of such materiel.• Installation of such equipment and other telecom and network equipment.• Maintenance of the materiel procured via this agreement. Service and maintenance of existing materiel is covered by an already entered service and maintenance agreement.The objective of the framework agreement is to ensure that the need for necessary nationwide infrastructure in FKI is met, so that other ICT services (telephony, data communication, sensor data, etc.) are safeguarded of in an appropriate manner.The framework agreement is a non-exclusive agreement and does not entail any financial obligations for the contracting authority. Financial obligation occurs only when entering into a call-off against the framework agreement.
