Description

NHS Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board (Lead Commissioner) and NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board (Associate Commissioner) are exploring options on how to re-commission Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services (NEPTS). The potential service(s) may be split into lots with a proposal for Lot 1 to focus on Operational including discharges, transfers, outpatients, admissions, etc. and Lot 2 for the Booking and Co-ordination Call Centre. The start date for this service is 01 April 2025. To assist in the exploratory exercise the Commissioner is seeking to engage with suitably qualified providers to help inform their next steps and to complete a market engagement questionnaire with the aim of: • Engaging with providers • Understanding the interest there might be in providing such services from suitably qualified providers. • Informing the commissioning process • Gathering information from stakeholders that may be used to shape a commissioning / procurement process and documentation. Providers who do not respond to the market engagement questionnaire will still be able to apply for the procurement in the future. Please note that this market engagement does not represent a formal stage in the procurement and participation will play no part in any subsequent evaluation process. This procurement is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners. Interested providers will be able to view this notice via the 'Live Opportunities' list on the e-procurement system, Atamis, available on the following link: https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome (Project C233826) and the Market Engagement will require the completion of an online questionnaire. The services are deemed to be subject of The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. This is therefore a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intended approach notice. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this notice.
