Description

You are invited to tender for the for the Conversion of the existing retail and café unit at Priory View, Dunstable into 8 residential apartments. Priory View is an Independent Living Scheme managed and owned by Central Bedfordshire Council. The building was constructed in 2015/2016 and is comprised of 82 self-contained apartments and some community facilities which includes a hair salon, a bar and restaurant open to the public and therapy rooms. Works will involve construction of a new first floor for the new apartments, M & E installation, new external façade, fit out of the new apartments and new landscaping. The existing building will be occupied during the works. The project has got planning approval, ref. CB/21/03224/REG3. Help and Support - The Council will provide as much support and information as it can in order to help guide you through the Tender process. Questions asked together with the Council's response will be made available to all tenderers to ensure a fair and consistent approach to all. If there is anything you are not sure of or need clarification on, please contact us using the Correspondence facility on the In-tend portal. Last date for receiving questions on Intend system: 21st July 2023. Return of Tender - Completed Tenders and attachments should be submitted electronically, by the due date via our "In-Tend" electronic tendering system. Tenders must be uploaded via the "My Return" section of the system. Tenders submitted through the correspondence facility will not be considered. Your Tender must be submitted via the In-Tend system by no later than 12:00 noon on Friday, 4th August 2023. Tenders received after that time will be excluded.
