Provision of a Park and Ride Service

University College Cork (UCC) are undertaking a preliminary market consultation exercise for the provision of park and ride shuttle bus services between the designated car parks and its main campus for its students and staff. Currently this service has been successfully provided using diesel buses and UCC wishes to review alternative solutions with a view to reducing the environmental impact and carbon related emissions attributable to this service activity. At this stage, the University is seeking to engage with potential providers that can offer a park and ride shuttle bus service using suitable low and zero-emission buses, as this may assist UCC in determining the best method to procure this service.
