This contract is being awarded as a below threshold contract under the light touch regime, as describe within Section 9 of the Procurement Act. The University is appointing this supplier to provide 24/7 student counselling services, which is a high-risk student-facing service that is linked to the University's wider duties around student wellbeing, mental health, safeguarding, risk management and suicide prevention.
