Tipperary County Council wished to appoint an Engineering Consultant to provide services for the planning, design, tender evaluation, construction, handover stages for expansion works at Knocknageragh Bridge on the R433 between Templemore and Clonmore. Knocknageragh Bridge is located on the R433, a busy regional road with an Average Daily Traffic (ADT) volume between 2,001 and 5,000 vehicles. This route serves as a key connection between the towns of Templemore and Rathdowney. Location coordinates E613040, N672560. It is a single arch limestone masonry bridge spanning 7m across the River Suir with a 0 degree skew. It has an overall width of 6.52m and a carriageway width of 5m.
