Supply of Electric Forklift Truck Requirement Gower View Foods Ltd seeks quotations for the supply and delivery of a new electric forklift truck suitable for use within a food manufacturing and warehouse environment. Suppliers may offer an equivalent model provided that it meets or exceeds the minimum specification detailed below. Minimum Technical Specification Capacity and Performance • Rated lifting capacity: 1,800 kg minimum • Load centre: 500 mm • Electric-powered forklift suitable for indoor warehouse and production operations Mast Configuration • Triplex mast • Maximum lift height: 4,700 mm minimum • Collapsed mast height: 2,160 mm maximum • Free lift suitable for operation within warehouse and production areas Fork Carriage and Attachments • Integrated side-shift • Third hydraulic function/third line fitted • Fork length: 1,200 mm • Standard carriage suitable for palletised food products Dimensions • Overall width: approximately 1,155 mm • Overall dimensions suitable for operation within food manufacturing and warehouse aisles Tyres • Solid tyres suitable for indoor industrial use Electrical and Drive System • Modern AC drive and control system • ZAPI or equivalent electronic control system • Regenerative braking and energy-efficient operation Battery and Charging • Lithium-ion battery technology • Battery specification: 80V, 228Ah minimum • Integrated onboard charger • Battery manufacturer warranty of 5 years minimum • Charger suitable for standard site electrical supplies Safety Features The forklift shall be supplied with all standard safety equipment including: • Operator restraint system/seat belt • Audible reversing alarm • Flashing warning beacon • Operator presence controls • Load backrest • CE/UKCA compliance Supply Requirements The quotation shall include: • Supply of one new forklift truck. • Delivery to Gower View Foods Ltd. • Pre-delivery inspection and commissioning. • Operator handbook and maintenance documentation. • Warranty details for truck, battery, and charger. • Initial operator familiarisation/training if available. Warranty and Support Suppliers shall provide: • Standard vehicle warranty details. • Lithium battery warranty details (minimum 5-year manufacturer warranty preferred). • Details of local service and maintenance support. • Recommended servicing intervals. Quotation Requirements Suppliers shall include: • Make and model offered. • Full technical specification. • Confirmation of compliance with the minimum requirements. • Lead time from order to delivery. • Total purchase price including delivery and commissioning. • Optional maintenance and service packages, if available.
