Description
Moray Council Building Services wishes to put in place a Framework for a period of three years with a possible extension of 12 months, with suitably qualified and experienced Contractors. The Framework will provide professional trade services to assist with Reactive Repairs, Planned Maintenance and Labour Only and will be used to cover the entire Moray region to support the Authority’s owned housing stock of 6,492 properties. A limit of 20 contractors per lot will apply. Lot 1: Asbestos Surveying and Removal (HSE licenced) Asbestos Surveying, testing and Removal (HSE Licenced and non licenced) Lot 2: Blacksmith Metal fabrication and repair of roller shutter doors Lot 3: Builder/Mason Builder is generally used to form the walls and other solid elements of buildings and structures and so on. It may be load bearing, forming an integral part of the structure, or non-load bearing, such as a partition wall or cladding etc. Lot 4: Cleaning Industrial (Commercial Buildings) - remove Domestic (Residential, Voids, End of tenancy cleans) Biohazard (contamination with biological fluids, needle sweeps) Graffiti Removal (pressure washing, chemical removals) Lot 5: Drainage & Water Services Surveying, Camera Inspection and Jetting, Drainage Installation, maintenance and repairs, Septic Tank Emptying, Mains water connections and repairs Lot 6: Electrical Repair, maintenance, installation and certification of domestic, commercial and industrial electrical works complying with the current version of BS 7671 EICR reports and remedial works complying with the current version of BS 7671,Repair, maintenance, installation and certification of domestic firealarm systems complying with the current version of BS 5839-1 Repair, maintenance and installation of communal door entry systems serving multiple flatted buildings. Emergency Lighting repair, Maintenance and installation complying with BS 5266-1. Repair , maintenance, installation and certification of all types of electric, gas ,oil and air source heating Lot 7: Renewables Installation, repairs, maintenance and servicing of Solar Panels Battery backup and invertors Thermal Panels Solar Water Heating PV Heating Control Systems SMART Heating Controls Wind Generation Lot 8: Fire Alarms/Equipment Install, service & maintenance of Fire alarms, Intruder alarms, Access control and CCTV systems. Lot 9: Groundworks Excavation, Earthworks, Drainage,. Hard Landscaping, Fencing (timber and metal), Tarring and re-surfacing, Landscaping (grass cutting, pruning) Demolition Lot 10: Joiner Joinery and Locksmiths Lot 11: Mechanical and Electrical Services Ventilation Systems (inc dust extraction) Heat Recovery Systems Sprinkler Systems Lot 12: Heating Gas Heating - Repairs and servicing of all types of gas boilers and appliances Gas Heating - Full heating installations Oil Heating - Repairs and servicing of all types of oil heating systems Solid Fuel Heating - Repairs and servicing of all types of soild fuel heating systems Multi-Fuel Stoves - Repairs, servicing and installation of multi-fuel stoves, flues and all other stove maintenance requirements. Lot 13: Painting & Decorating All painting works to include but not limited to the preparation of surfaces, all decoration works including painting/taping/papering/tiling/damp and mould treatments, external painting. Lot 14: Pest Control Control of unwanted creatures, such as, rats, ants, bedbugs, and termites from homes, buildings, and surrounding areas. They typically inspect buildings for signs of pests, determine the treatment needed Lot 15: Plastering Plastering only Lot 16: Plumbing Installation, refurbishment, maintenance/repair of all systems of pipes, tanks, fittings, and other apparatus required for the water supply, drainage, heating, and sanitation in domestic properties Lot 17: Removal & Storage Removal and Storage, House clearances, Garden Clearances Lot 18: Roofing Cleaning and Treatment (inc gutter cleaning and replacement) Flat Roofing (various roof coatings) Tiling Slating Cladding (profile sheeting) Gutter Cleaning and Moss Removal Emergency response (flooding) Lot 19: Fittings and Fixures Floor coverings (carpets and vinyl) Curtains & Blinds Lot 20: Damp, mould and preservation treatment Damp, mould and rot surveying Damp, mould and rot remedial works and reinstatement Damp and mould installation (PIV) Lot 21: External Wall Finishes Roughcasting (wet, dry and rendering), external wall insulation Lot 22: Scaffolding Erection of a temporary structure used to support a work crew and materials to aid in the construction, maintenance and repair of buildings and structures. Scaffolds are widely used on site to get access to heights and areas that would be otherwise hard to get to. Lot 23: Signage Maintenance, supply and erection Lot 24: Specialist Trades Automated Doors and Entry Systems (Domestic) Doors (Industrial & Roller) TV, Aerial and Satellite (supply and repair) Data cabling (supply and repair) Chimney sweeps and solid fuel maintenance EPC Surveying Lot 25: Workshop Machinery Repair and servicing of workshop machinery, LEV maintenance Lot 26: Windows and Doors Replacement Glazing - Measure and replace broken single, double and triple glazed units in various locations, types, and finishes to meet current regulations Replacement Windows (timber/UPVC) - Measure, supply, and fit replacement windows to match existing, with full internal and external finishes Replacement external door sets - Measure, supply, and fit replacement UPVC and composite door sets to match existing, including all side lights, fan lights and all internal and external finishing's Lot 27: Multi-Trade Including but not limited to Builder, Electrician, Plumbers, Painter, Joiner, Landscaping and heating (gas, solid fuel, electric and renewables). Examples would be kitchen and bathroom upgrades, major disabled adaptations, whole house refurbishment Lot 28: Labour Only Labour only - Contractors may be required to support our ‘in house’ Building Services ’ team during peak periods where key trade (e.g. Joiner, Plumber, Electrician, Painter, Slater) support is required to deliver planned/cyclical maintenance. Lot 29: Gull Control Licensed Contractor - all proactive Gull Control Activity Preventative Measures. Supply, installation and maintenance of sonic scarer devices. Lasers deterrents, debris, nest and egg removal and dead bird removal
