OPW-Coastal Erosion Hazard Mapping (CEHM) Technical Methodology Note (TMN)

Description

The OPW intends to run a competitive procurement process for the provision of consultancy services to develop national-scale coastal erosion hazard mapping for Ireland. This may result in the establishment of one or more contracts to deliver the services. As part of the process, the OPW is issuing this pre-market consultation (PMC) and invites responses from consultants and specialists for the purpose of market research. This PMC is not a call for competition. The PMC seeks input on the draft Coastal Erosion Hazard Mapping Technical Methodology Note (CEHM TMN), with the aim of contributing to the comprehensive development, structuring and enhancement of the proposed approach to coastal erosion hazard mapping. The CEHM TMN sets out the data to be used and methods to be adopted in developing coastal erosion hazard mapping for Ireland. In addition, the OPW is inviting observations on the overall programming of the services in light of the identified programme constraints, to help foster collaborative working and to reduce or remove the impacts of these constraints where possible. Any input received will be reviewed and considered prior to the finalisation of the CEHM TMN and the tender documentation.
