Installation of submarine cable for project HAT-RYT

Description

Cable Installation of approximately 4,5 km 170 kV 3-phase submarine cable under the seabed of Vejle Fjord. The project contains full installa-tion of the submarine cable between the transi-tion joint bay on the north side of the fjord and the transition joint bay on the south side of the fjord. The weight of the cable is approximately 130 kg per meter, with a diameter of 250 mm. The water depth of the submarine cable instal-lation is in the range of approximately 1 m to 13 m. The two transition joint bays are placed between 25 and 110 meters from the water and into the land. The submarine cable installation is scheduled for execution in approx. August – October, 2026.
